Drunkdeck respects intellectual property rights. Users can create custom cards, and we remove content that infringes copyright when we are properly notified.

Reporting infringement

If you believe content on Drunkdeck infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at [email protected] that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
  • Identification of the infringing content and enough detail for us to locate it (a link or the card text).
  • Your name, address, phone number and email.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, email the same address with your signature, the removed content and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name, address and phone number. You must also consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district where Drunkdeck may be found) and accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice. We may restore the content after 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly submitting a false notice or counter-notice can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
